The barn was renovated over a period of 5 years by Compagnons du devoir, with the aim of preserving its authenticity and charm of yesteryear. The owners opted for simplicity, using noble, natural, plastic-free materials such as slabs cut from Murat volcanic rock, walls covered in hemp-lime, poplar partitions, oak parquet flooring and the use of glass and metal. Sleeping up to 6 people, the living space is light and airy, with a view of the surrounding countryside through the glass façade. A stove in the center of this space and an underfloor heating system will enable you to enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding nature, while staying warm. On the lower floor, the barn has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom is equipped with a double bed, the second with 2 single beds, and the sofa bed in the living room can accommodate a further 2 people. The bathroom, a former vaulted cellar, has a shower and an ofuro, a traditional Japanese bath, for total relaxation.
